Author Visit
Uttlesford Multi-Schools Council Meeting
Our school councillors along with other school councillors attended the Uttlesford Multi-Schools Council (MSC) meeting on Monday 9th October representing Roseacres Primary School.
During the meeting they were able to give their ‘voice’ on topics such as 'Transitions' (moving to new year groups or into new schools), communication between peers, fundraising events. This was a wonderful experience that helped the children to build on their confidence in public speaking and engagement of other children from different local schools.
Active Essex Award
Two of our Year 3 pupils were proud to represent our school receiving Silver Award for KS1 last academic year 21-22, recognising the pupils' efforts with sport and staying active.
